Position: Estimator (m/f)

Preparing cost estimates, analysing documentation and working with the sales team

We are a leading company in individually designed prefabricated homes based on timber-frame structures with integrated glass walls.

Due to our growing workload and the continued expansion of our sales team, we are looking for a new colleague whose expertise, accuracy and experience will make them an indispensable part of the team.

Your responsibilities

Accuracy and clarity when preparing estimates will be part of your everyday work

• Reviewing and analysing project documentation to prepare estimates.

• Preparing estimates based on submitted projects and standard rates.

• Preparing bills of quantities for materials, work and services.

• Obtaining and analysing input prices from suppliers, partners and subcontractors.

• Assisting with the calculation of cost prices.

• Setting cost prices based on standard-rate calculations and preparing analyses for final price adjustments.

• Preparing estimates for additional work and post-calculations for completed projects.

• Ensuring that data in the information system database is accurate and up to date.

• Advising the sales team and explaining estimates.

What we expect from you

We are looking for someone who understands construction processes, notices details and has a strong feel for numbers

• A qualification in construction or civil engineering, preferably at least level VI.

• At least three years of experience in a similar position.

• Knowledge of the laws and regulations relevant to the role.

• The ability to read and interpret project documentation.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

• Initiative and the ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a team.

• Strong organisational and communication skills.

• Accuracy, reliability and professionalism.
