Anže Lanišek tours our production facility
During his visit to the production, Anže Lanišek learned about the manual processing of wood, the controlled production process and the attention given to every element of the KAGER house.

Anže Lanišek visits our production facility
An insight into how timber-and-glass houses are made
Building a home is one of life’s biggest decisions. It is therefore especially important that future owners not only trust our work, but can also see for themselves the quality with which every individual element is made and how the entire production process is carried out.
Anže Lanišek also wanted to see up close how timber-and-glass houses are created, so he and Nastja visited our production facility in Ptuj. The visit gave him further confidence that he had made the right decision: his new home will be part of the VITA NOVA Classic architectural family.
Boutique production for a unique finished product
Every house is created individually and adapted to its plot and owner’s lifestyle
At KAGER HIŠA, we do not build standardised houses. Every home is created entirely from scratch and tailored to its particular plot and the owner’s lifestyle. The production process is therefore not a series operation. Instead, we approach each house individually—from the first sketch to the final detail.
It was precisely this uniqueness that impressed Anže. He saw how each house gradually takes shape—from preparing wall elements with an exposed timber structure to hand-finishing the timber and installing the glass surfaces.
How are the wall elements made?
The timber frame provides architectural freedom as well as stability
The timber-frame structure we use in construction provides not only structural stability, but also architectural freedom. Because the posts and beams perform the load-bearing function, the exterior wall surfaces are completely adaptable. This enables large expanses of glass and a seamless transition between interior and exterior space.
Glass walls that connect the space with nature
No compromise between openness and energy efficiency
At KAGER HIŠA, we believe there is no need to choose between feeling connected with nature and achieving energy efficiency. Our Vita Nova technology provides both: large expanses of glass that connect the interior with the outdoors, together with outstanding insulation and a comfortable indoor climate throughout the year.
Watching the glass walls being installed, Anže immediately understood what makes KAGER houses so special. “When you see the precision with which every element is made, you truly understand why timber-and-glass houses are something special.”
Hand-finishing the exposed timber structure
A natural material that brings warmth to the home
The hand-finished timber is another distinctive feature of every KAGER house. This is not industrial production in which the elements are identical to those in every other house, but boutique craftsmanship in which skilled specialists ensure that every detail is perfected.
Anže and Nastja saw how hand-finishing brings out the natural beauty of the timber and how important installation precision is in ensuring that the finished result is not only aesthetically refined, but also durable over the long term.
From touring the production facility to a future home
A team of experts stands behind every house
The production tour gave Anže an insight into where his future home will be made. His VITA NOVA Classic will be designed around his wishes—open, bright, connected with nature and technically refined.
Alongside the production process itself, he also met the people whose knowledge and joinery skills ensure that the houses impress not only through the quality of their execution, but also through their refined appearance. Every detail—from carefully selected timber to precisely finished surfaces—reflects the craftsmanship and dedication of the team behind the final product.
“Now I can picture even more clearly what my home will look like,” he said at the end of the visit.
