For us at Kager, 2024 marked an important milestone. Through numerous successfully completed projects, breakthroughs in new markets and new partnerships, we demonstrated that innovation, quality and flexibility remain the foundations of our work.

Signing an agreement with top ski jumper Anže Lanišek

We are extremely proud to have signed an agreement with leading ski jumper Anže Lanišek. He and his partner Nastja decided to create their home in a house from the VITA NOVA Classic architectural family.

Anže embodies dedication, perseverance and success, and recognised us as the partner who could realise his vision of a high-quality, functional home. This project is not only an architectural achievement but the beginning of a shared story, combining our passion for building with Anže’s inspiring values.

Construction of the new Doppler Wine House

We are building this complex and technically demanding 900 m² property using Vita Nova technology

The construction of the Doppler Wine House in Slovenia’s Podravje region is more than an architectural milestone: it is an exceptionally complex and technically demanding project combining contemporary architecture with advanced Vita Nova technology. In addition to a wine cellar, the 900 m² building includes a restaurant that will offer guests an outstanding culinary experience in an aesthetically refined, sustainable setting.

During project preparation, we encountered numerous technical and logistical challenges. Because of the wide spans, the frame required XLam floor panels, enabling a stable and efficient spatial design. A key feature is the exceptional 3.40-metre wall height, compared with the standard 2.90 metres. This dimensional difference required tailored engineering solutions and precise planning for transporting and assembling the tall wall elements on site.

The project’s complexity was further emphasised by an intensive six-month design process involving the search for innovative structural solutions and adaptation to the investor’s specific architectural and functional requirements. Every detail was carefully planned to ensure the best possible balance of visual appeal, sustainability and function.

Adding luxury apartments to a multi-residential building

Our boutique production provides complete flexibility and an individual approach

One of the year’s most important achievements was extending a multi-residential building by adding three luxury apartments on top of the existing structure. The project stood out for its technical complexity and need for precise planning, as aesthetic solutions had to meet high functional standards. We ensured flawless installation, minimal impact on the surroundings and outstanding living quality.

Our ability to adapt to the client’s particular wishes and the project’s unique requirements was the key to success. Boutique production allowed us to develop fully tailored solutions demonstrating a high degree of flexibility and innovation. The project again proved that we can unite aesthetics and function in a harmonious whole that exceeds expectations.

Our first project in Spain is already under construction

Expanding into international markets

Signing our first construction contract in Spain—and already beginning work—is a special milestone. It represents a major step in expanding our activities into international markets. The project proves that the premium quality, refined design and adaptability of our houses are recognised and sought after beyond our borders. Expansion into Spain lets us strengthen our European presence and establish new standards for contemporary construction.

A presence in international markets

New partnerships in Switzerland and prestigious awards in Ukraine

Our growing presence in international markets also defined 2024. In Switzerland, we successfully established our reputation as a reliable provider of premium timber-and-glass houses. Our partners in Ukraine received two important honours at the prestigious Ukrainian Building Awards—for best interior and best architectural design of a private house. This confirms our quality and innovation on an international level.

Marketing breakthroughs and new content

A redesigned website and new video content

We also devoted considerable attention to improving our marketing. We redesigned our website, which now provides a better and clearer user experience. We also created numerous videos featuring our new buildings and showcasing our commitment to precision and outstanding design.

We gave particular prominence to IKR—Individual Conceptual Solutions. This distinctive approach highlights our ability to adapt to each client’s wishes and design solutions reflecting their personal style. It further established Kager Houses as a synonym for innovation, quality and sustainable aesthetics.

At Kager, we look to the future with optimism. We aim to consolidate long-term partnerships and strengthen our presence in key European markets including Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy and Croatia. Our vision is to create exceptional timber-and-glass houses that combine technological progress, sustainable development and refined aesthetics.

Alongside our best-selling VITA NOVA Classic and VITA NOVA Edition lines, we will continue developing new architectural solutions. We will focus on expansion with VITA NOVA alu, a modern house model offering a premium appearance while reducing maintenance requirements.
