Discover a new dimension of living with timber-and-glass elegance

This 165 m² VITA NOVA Classic house was built in 2020. The heart of the ground floor is an open, bright living area with a kitchen, dining room and lounge, connected to its surroundings through numerous glass surfaces. The large expanses of glass face south to make the best possible use of sunlight. 

The ground floor also has a study for working from home, which likewise opens onto the courtyard. We maximised the ground-floor living area by positioning the guest toilet and the utility room with heat pump beside the entrance. The total net ground-floor living area, including all rooms, is 87 m².

Architecture

Exposed timber-frame structure

The load-bearing ceiling structure with exposed timber beams emphasises the architectural clarity of VITA NOVA houses. The warm tones of the timber frame and the large expanses of glass bring the interior and exterior into harmony. An exceptional feeling of openness and freedom gives living an entirely new meaning, while hand-finished timber and refined details create timeless elegance.

The upper floor extends across 78 m² and is dedicated to rest. Light flows beautifully through every room, with glazing present on all sides.

The thoughtful arrangement of the upper floor provides a parents’ area on one side and two children’s rooms on the other. The bedroom and walk-in wardrobe are separated from the children’s rooms by a spacious bathroom and an open area for relaxing with a good book or watching a basketball game. At just over 13 m² each, the children’s rooms offer enough space for overflowing toy baskets and, later in the teenage years, a private retreat.
